Data we collect

DoseSpring collects account information such as name and email, optional profile details such as age and timezone, medicines, schedules, dose confirmations, supply and refill information, health readings, notes, caregiver contact details, notification tokens, and technical information needed to operate the service.

How we use data

We use this information for authentication, medicine tracking, reminders, dose history, refill estimates, reports, PDF generation, caregiver alerts when enabled, support, abuse prevention, and service security.

Care Circle disclosure

If Care Circle alerts are enabled, caregiver emails may contain limited sensitive information such as medicine name, scheduled time, and confirmation status.

Service providers

DoseSpring may use hosting, database/server infrastructure, transactional email, Expo notification infrastructure, and other operational providers needed to run the app.

Security

DoseSpring uses HTTPS in transit, password hashing, authenticated API access, and user ownership controls. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.

Retention and deletion

Account data is retained while the account is active. In-app deletion removes the account and associated app records. Operational backups may retain protected copies temporarily according to the backup provider retention settings.

DoseSpring records user-entered information and provides reminders, estimates, and reports. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment advice, emergency care, or professional medical advice.
